This Gas Engine is a Vintage Leader Hit Miss model with 3 horsepower. It is designed for use in the field, forge, pump, or as a motor for different types of equipment. The disk crank is one of the notable features of this engine. The ownership of the gas engine has been transferred from the initial owner to the current one who received it from their Grandfather in 1982. A replacement of the Head gasket is needed in order to use the engine. A Head rebuild was done by Ed Dice in 1995, as the engine had a crack in the water jacket. Moreover, new valves were made for the engine at the same time. Various parts including the coil are available, however, the engine hasn't been used in years. It still turns effortlessly.
