This auction is for 52 pieces of Vintage / Antique LetterPress Wood Type. I have no idea what font this is. Every piece has 3 deep lines cut into the bottom. No maker's mark found. It measures approximately 2" tall, 1 5/8" wide (#2) and 15/16" thick. Numbers; 1 (3), 2 (4), 3 (4), 4 (4), 5 (4), 6 (4), 7 (4), 8 (4), 9 (4), 0 (4). Symbols: $ (4), cents sign (4), Period (4) and Dash- (1). There are 2 small pieces and I have no idea what they are, but I'm including them. I also have a Showcase machine if anyone is interested. I haven't listed it yet. I do not know about wood letter type. I do not understand lines or pts and it's difficult to determine fonts sometimes. So if you have any questions please let me know. Please see photos for condition as condition can be subjective. These came in large lot with other sets that were Wm. Page, J. G. Cooley and Vanderburgh Wells. I listed some of those a couple of months ago- now I'm listing the rest. I have cleaned all my letter type and have tried to bring out the best patina in the wood.
