Larger items that are for sale via Local Pickup Only are Local Pickup Only unless buyer is willing to arrange for freight pickup and packaging charges. Buyer arranges for pickup and accepts all responsibilty for item after it leaves our store. I do not process refunds for "impulse" buys. Be sure that you want what you are bidding on. Refunds are only issued if item has been mis-represented in any way or if a piece was damaged during shipment. Buyer must provide photos of any damage so that we may present those to the consignor who offered the piece. Many times, a return will be requested, depending on the item, because we mark (invisibly) every item that goes out for delivery so that we know, if there is a return, that it is the same item that was initially sent. I know this sounds "over the top" but the few people out there making a living from "scamming" people have made it difficult for us honest people. Since we do operate a retail facility, all items are subject to prior sale. We try very hard to remove the sold items from our listings as soon as they are sold, but again, we are human and sometimes do make mistakes. We sell a LOT of glassware and are very careful about the packaging of it. We use a LOT of bubble wrap. There is, included in shipping charges, a small percentage to help offset the cost of packaging materials. We are an ebay consignment store. We try to do as much research as possible on the items that we are selling, but we are in no way experts. If you have questions, please ask and we will be more that happy to answer to the best of our ability. If we do not know the answer, we will tell you. We are human and we do make mistakes, but are willing to admit it and accept responsibilty for it.
