My grandfather was a machinist\mechanical engineer and had these letters in his toolroom at his house. I thought they were very interesting and in very nice condition, well organized and complete, so I decided to list them. They come in the original box. The box has a block of wood on the bottom to hold the letters that are marked for where the letter goes in alphabetical order. I believe you get the & with this set. The box is nice and sturdy and the letters look beautiful. I cannot tell the size of the letter so I put it next to a tape measure in the pictures so you can get an idea of how small the letters are. They are either 1/8 or 1/16 but you be the judge because this is out of my expertise. This would make a very thoughtful Christmas present for a person who is into machinist tools. The most important way to analyze what you will receive is to carefully look at all the pictures and read my description carefully. The pictures and my description are very accurate.
