I spent 30 years as a Special Machine Builder and Machinist. I retired from the tooling trade over 20 years ago so the time has come to pass along my precision tools and tooling to someone who has a use for them. For sale are three sets, all heavy duty, metal/leather stamps in three different sizes. (1/16" - 3/16" - 1/4") I mainly used them for stamping details and weldments. These have not been used since 1992, when I retired from tooling. Even though they are used, they all have a crisp edge, and were never abused. They all come with the covers to match. Way back I taped the wooden blocks together to form the sets you see. Any irregularities are listed as follows and can be seen in the photos. 1/16" set - the "c" is flattened a little but you can still tell it is a "c" when stamped. The "0" is missing from the numbers but I used the "O" from the letter set. 3/16" set is in excellent condition, but missing the "." (period) and the original "k". There is a substitute in it's place. 1/4" set is excellent, hardly ever used, no missing or damaged stamps. 1/16" are Young Brothers USA. 3/16" say Tesa, Swiss made, stamped on the side of each stamp. The 1/4" set has nothing on the side of the stamp and the brand sticker is under the tape that secures the holders together. Over all for being 35+ years old they are in great condition and will last for years. If you need additional photos or have a question please email me with your concerns before bidding.
