This vintage instrument was manufactured in the Soviet Union (now Russian Federation) in 1965 but was never used. It still has original packing papers and original certificate of calibration and compliance to state standards for measuring devices dated May 28, 1965 (included). Wooden box has scratches. It allows measurements of internal dimensions from 150 mm to 1250 mm in 0.01 mm increments with a margin of error not exceeding 0.02 mm. The set includes the micrometer with a tip, tip for another end, extension rods and precision C – bracket for micrometer calibration. The great accuracy is achieved by precise lengths of all rods with polished faces at both ends. I bought and kept it as a collector item. To me it’s a tribute to ingenuity and craftsmanship of the times when lasers and electronic gadgets did not exist. But at the same time, this is a fully functional instrument and can be used for its intended purpose. I am selling off my collections and this is one of the items.
