PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR AUCTION/SHIPPING/RETURN INFO Here is a very cool and old Analytical Precision Mechanical Balance/Scale made by Mettler. Distributed by Fisher Scientific and looks to once be used at General Mills. This balance seems to work, plugs in and receives power, light turns on, and weighs item. It should definitely be calibrated if it is going to actually be used, but would make a great collectors piece (I've seen pictures of these online at museums). This is the K7 model from the early 1960's, that replaced the "Kilogram-atic 800" from the 50's. Includes 3 SWISS MADE precision substitution weights that weigh exactly 100g, 200g, and 400g, in order to allow weights up to 800g to be weighed on the scale. These 3 weights are removable, and in and of themselves very valuable. Also has removable top weighing pan.
