Vintage Military I-177-B Tube Tester Measures in Micromhos Here is a Military I-177-B. This was made in 1949. It is the direct predessor to the Hickok TV/7 series of testers. This tube tester does work, but has been on the shelf for years. I tested a few known tubes today. The line adjust works as it should.  It does not test known good tubes accuratly.   This tester will need maintenance and probably some repair, as it has not been in service for decades. It does have a musty odor from being on the shelf for so many years. it includes the charts as shown.   Please see the many photos provided. The cabinet is a little corroded on the front. I was going to keep this as a back up to one of my 3 professionally calibrated TV/7Ds, but how many tube testers do I really need? Being offered at a very fair Buy It Now. Quite frankly, I could remove the meter and transformer and probably sell them for more then my asking price for the entire tester.  Guaranteed good transformer and meter.   This item is 100% Guaranteed as described. A word about tube testers. Just please be advised. Any and all tube testers that you buy on ebay, especially from this era,  should be and will need to be calibrated by a qualified person. 95% of all tube testers from this era will need calibrated.
