Old Vintage Rare Monitor Baker Windmill Company Evansville, Wisconsin Hand Hit & Miss Engine Cast Iron Windmill / Hand Water Well Pump. Very nice old original Monitor Script pump. Matches the Monitor Baker pump jack engines, hard pump to find with Monitor Script name. It has the name "MONITOR BAKER  MFG CO EVANSVILLE WIS" cast on it. It has a lot of original red paint. This is a windmill pump has good guides on the pump rod. Can be used with a windmill or hit miss Monitor gas engine driven pump jack or pumped by hand. Handle moves up and down ok. Pump can be shipped will take 2 boxes with insurance. This is a good working condition old pump. The 1 1/4" N.P.T. size pipe has been removed from the inside and the threads are in good shape in the pump body. They have had a pipe tap run in them and ready to use. Base and body is good hard to find. No cracks, welds or repairs. It has a hook for the water conductor to hang on the curved spout. It is 70 inches tall overall to the top of pump rod and 50 inches to the top of the head and has a 38 inch handle. This pump will make a great yard art decoration or will pump water with the addition of a pump cylinder more pipe and sucker rod. You are bidding on the pump only as shown in the photos. The last 2 photos show how a pump is mounted on your well and the working parts also a pump cylinder showing the inside parts that make the pump lift the water. Can be shipped to your local large town Fastenal store that has a fork lift. Large heavy items can be delivered to the summer show swap meets I attend in MO, KS or NE and for a $30 spot on the load. No charge for storage, full payment will be due at end of auction.
