Vintage Motorola portable 2-way communications tester Model S1056A, seeking someone who collects these items. This is apparently one of the units that belonged to the city of Portland, Oregon for their use in testing 2-way communications. The cabinet is in good shape just needs some polishing to exterior metal surfaces, has original knobs, inside looks pretty clean, do not know how to test this unit. It is sold "as-is". It was stored in my father's cabinet in the barn. Unsure of the condition of the inside components and do not know if it works. This has been stored for many years my father's cabinet in the barn. He had been ill for several years before passing away last year. Please be aware this is an "As-Is" sale and I do not guarantee that the unit works. I wish to thank those who send me pictures of the radios they purchased and restored. They look great and gives me the incentive to contine offering my father's radios, testers and parts to you. Please see pictures for condition of unit. This unit is approx. 12" x 12" x 7" weighs 12.5 lbs so I will ship it FedEx Ground. I am offering international shipping through the Global Shipping Program only. I do not have access to the shipping costs through this program or taxes charged. The unit is sold "As-Is" but will be packed with care. If the unit is damaged due to shipping; FedEx Insurance claim policy requires you to surrender the unit, packaging material and original box to them for inspection. You are required to get a damage tag call number from me, clearly mark it on the box, and leave the box at the same location they placed it when dropping it off for them to pick up and keep. Once this process is complete, they will notify me and I will refund your money. You must cooperate with this process to receive a refund for damaged items. I do have a 14 day return policy but you must pay for return shipping. I have another large lot of knobs that I am sorting through, about a hundred radio parts, some testers, dip meters, HAM radios and such that I just picked up from my mother's last spring.
