DETAILED DESCRIPTION: For sale is this vice removed from a vintage New Hermes Engravogaph. I'm pretty sure it was a model "T" (I will be selling other parts from the machine). I am not an engraver, I don't service engravers, I don't know which other models this fits or if it will fit your machine. I am a competent machinist and toolsmith. I completely stripped this vice down, cleaned everything, lubricated it, adjusted it, replaced any missing or damaged screws. Basically it works like new. Everything on it works smoothly, nothing is stripped, bent, damaged, or excessively worn. Some of the metal parts have dark tarnish from storage, some of the screw heads show some surface rust. Remember, this is old and I didn't repaint it so it still looks old. Vice measures 13.5 inches long overall, jaws are six inches wide, they open to just over five inches wide. Mounting plate is six inches wide. I offer an unconditional money-back guarantee, if you don't like your item just send it back and I will refund.
