Listed as "Drop Forged + Steel Laid Buffalo Combination Snips" , as described in an early Niagara Machine + Tool Works catalog; "They possess all the desirable features of our "Niagara" snips ,and their jaws are so shaped that curves , scrolls and irregular shapes can be cut , as well as straight lines.The jaws allow the material to pass freely when cutting curves or changing the direction of the cut." These snips are near Mint with most all of the original dark blue japanning + have crisp sharp cutting edges that look like they have seen very little use.
