Item: Vintage “B-D” Hypodermic Syringe Note: This item includes NO NEEDLES of any kind. Description: For sale is a NEW IN BOX Solid Glass Becton-Dickinson 50cc. Hypodermic Syringe. Technically, this “B-D” piece of equipment is their Model# 2325 B-D Yale. This item was made in Rutherford, N.J. (coincidentally, the next town over from me) and was made Pre-1960. I do not know the exact year, but “Pre-1960” is a very safe estimate. I am literally flabbergasted by the HUGENESS of this Syringe. The actual SOLID GLASS Syringe measures 7” (closed up). As mentioned above, it comes in its Original New Box. I am sure my photos will best further describe this Vintage Medical Device. Condition: On a scale of 1 – 10 (Ten being MINT), I can confidently grade this item a solid 9. Although this item is NEW in Original Box, I cannot grade it a “10” because the exterior of the box has some VERY MINOR “shelf” wear simply from being in storage for the last 40+ years. Don’t get me wrong though, the box is still very strong and only has a few tiny nicks. As for the Glass Syringe, it 100% MINT and IMMACULATE. Needless to say, it is Brand New, Never Used (Of Course!!). My photos are an accurate depiction of this item’s TRUE Condition.
