Nikon Model S 1963 Binocular Medical Microscope: Comes with certificate of inspection (shown in photos) with a date of July 11, 1963. Made in Tokyo, Japan by Nippon Kogaku K.K., the precursor of Nikon Corporation. Binocular tubes with end caps. Four objectives: 4x, 10x, 40x, and 100x (oil immersion) with storage capsules. Two 10x eyepieces with retractable eyeglass shields that will result in 40x, 100x, 400x, 1000x magnification. Two-sided reflecting mirror with stand if alternate lighting is desired (in original packaging). Sub-stage Nikon 110-volt illuminator with working bulb and three extra bulbs and daylight diffusor. Wooden carry/storage cabinet with lock and two keys. Two slide out wooden trays that have the capacity to hold up to twelve objectives. Metal 2" x 6" slide out utility tray. Bolt locking mechanism at the bottom of the carrying case with turnkey. Plastic Nikon dust cover. Condenser with aperture iris that can be off centered for oblique illumination. Blue glass filter.
