Vintage NOS USS Homestead Works Hard Hat MSA Skullgard 1969/1977 U.N. visits Pa This hard hat has been in the original Mine Safety marked plastic bag since it was new! No chips, cracks, scratches, discoloration or any other problems at all. It even has the original instruction sheet! It is dated 1969 on the MSA sticker and is marked on both sides "United Nations Visits Pennsylvania June 12 1977" on each side of the hat. Thanks much to a fellow ebayer who pointed out this hardhat with a picture showing the U.N. visited this steel plant with hard hats on was printed in the 06/13/1977 edition of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
