 VINTAGE CIVIL DEFENSE ONAN GENERATOR "ELECTRIC PLANT" 2500 WATS, 120V. 13 AMPS. NOT STARTING Here is a vintage Civil Defense generator (we guess mid 1960s) in very good condition, except it won't start!  The pull-starter pulls nicely and the cylinder chugs.  We removed the spark plug, which was in good condition and cleaned it but there was no spark on pull-through, indicating, perhaps that the magneto is faulty.  Otherwise, the generator is in good shape.  The gas tank holds gas, the air filter and carburetor are reasonably clean and we believe with a little work this generator can go back in service, perhaps for some non-profit organization. Please examine the photos carefully, as this is the item that you are bidding on.  Be sure this is what you want, because we hate to have to start an auction all over. LOW STARTING BID - NO RESERVE NO RETURN SINCE YOU WILL BE SEEING THE ITEM WHEN YOU PICK IT UP.  IF ITEM DOES NOT MATCH PHOTOS YOU WILL BE ENTITLED TO A REFUND AT TIME OF PICK-UP.
