DESCRIPTION OF ITEM i show any problems that i noticed THIS IS A GREAT VINTAGE BOOK--called HADRIAN A Deckle-edge book paper in two friendly surfaces and two weights for find printing uses. Mittineague printed for the worthy paper company company. 1926. 16 pages, with the different examples of the paper, this book has been planed, written and set in type by Carl Purington Rollins (1880–1960) printer; born in West Newbury, Mass. As printer for Yale University (1928–48) he designed over 2,000 volumes and lectured on typography; he wrote a column for the Saturday Review of Literature called "The Compleat Collector.", he also joined the Roycroft community) , at the Sign of the Chorobates. The Printing has been done by Yale University press SO COOL. nice SHAPE with a bit of discolor and a small snag at the top of the cover. and just a BIT MUSTY. the item is complete as issued. THIS item came from a collection of work, once owned by the amazing artist Will Gerth. ----from ATF 1937----who had "a list of clients as long as your arm. Designed products and advertising no end for top-drawer New York Agencies, Chase Brass & Copper, Oneida community (silverware, etc.) and yards of others. Designed packages all over the industrial and commercial world. Keeps to himself a lot. Averages 20,000 miles a year in his Franklin, enjoying New England. Is meticulous in his work. Plays Masterworks music while he labors. His midtown Manhattan studio in the Beaux Arts Apartments is a delight to see and sit in. Makes delicious fried cheese sandwiches, coffee. Has no etchings."
