Cleaning out Mom's attic. This originally belonged to my Nana who was a seamstress that immigrated to the U.S. from Italy. I have left it exactly how i found it, assuming that any attempt of cleaning could possibly ruin it. My dilemma is that i have absolutely no idea what it is worth. The three others i found on e-bay are all from 1955, and have prices of several hundred dollars. A google search of Palmenberg Cavanaugh shows them all from 1955, except one. It was a 1947 that was on Etsy, but was already sold so i could not see the price. I of course did find other brands from the 1920's that were priced between $450. - $700., but none of them were Palmenberg Cavanaugh's.  Curiously though, none from the 1930's. I could find no references at all, not even in museums. I would appreciate any feedback of knowledge to help me out with this. I would like to see what kind of offers i get over the next several weeks, maybe that could help me determine what the value of this really neat old piece is. Thanks for looking.
