Up for auction is a Vintage Precision Electronics Deluxe Signal Tracer (Model 251) - with probe! I've restored it 95%. Here's what I've done: * Changed the obsolete capacitors with brand new ones; * Added a new 3-prong grounded cord and fuse; * Replace the defective volume pot; * Cleaned the cabinet; * Cleaned all the pots and switches; * Tested tube and replaced several weak ones. The Signal Tracer works and passes audio. The only thing that doesn't work (the remaining 5% of the restoration) is the meter. This makes a very cool vintage guitar amp. Great for practicing in the bedroom. The cool thing about this unit is that the probe has a tube it it. If you run the guitar through the probe, it's even louder. Thanks for looking!
