 This is a Cam-Hi-Bump-Cap made in the USA by Cam-Hi company.  It came from the estate of a gentleman who worked for Phillips 66 and caps of this kind were often issued to employees who walked around refineries in the course of their jobs and could run into low pipes etc.   These caps offer less protection than a typical hard hat and there is a sticker inside the cap that says, "This Bump Cap Provides Head and Scalp Protection, DO NOT USE IN SEVERE IMPACT AREAS."   This dates from 1986, August and is in good condition considering its age.  It does show wear but has no damage.  Has vent holes on each side.
