THIS IS A RARE 1950's SODA SHOP RESTAURANT FAMILY GRILL FOUNTAIN SHOP BEVERAGE DISPENSER IN GREAT CONDITION. It was from a local restaurant that closed down many years ago. In the day this use to hold the red punch or lemon aid drinks. This dispenser is a 5 Gallon Capacity Clear Glass PYREX Globe. The glass is in GREAT CONDITION with NO cracks / NO damage.....SIMPLY MARVELOUS!!!! It is marked "PYREX" and "5 GAL". The globe is secured onto the base by a threaded nut with rubber seals on both sides of the glass globe. I did not tighten it down nor did I check for leaks. The rubber seals appear to be slightly worn and I did not want to chance cracking the globe. I suggest new seals be installed prior to assembling. The top lid is made of Stainless Steel with a bakelite knob in GREAT CONDITION. The bottom housing is made of stainless steel and the dispenser spout is a TOMLINSON brand and the flow operates normally as well as the on/off. It appears to be brass covered in chrome due to some minor scratches and.missing chrome that exposes the brass. There is some normal wear of scratches and normal signs of use. The stainless steel on both the base and lid are in WONDERFUL CONDITION. The dispenser measures approx. 32" tall x 14" across. Very MINIMAL LIGHT scratches or TINY dings. OVERALL THIS ENTIRE DISPENSER IS GREAT AND RARE AS RARE CAN BE !!!! This is a GREAT ITEM TO REPAIR THE SEAL AND USE AS DESIGNED OR USE AS A conversation piece or maybe even use a fish aquarium. Shipping will be insured in 2 separate boxes with the globe being double boxes WELL !! SORRY DUE TO THE SHIPPING COST NO REFUNDS, NO GUARANTEES, being sold in AS IS CONDITION!!
