For your consideration in this auction is a Vintage dated 11 '49 Taylor Instrument Companies Thermometer. It is model 21423 and measures 5 1/2 inches long. The case overall is 7 inches long. The expanding liquid is red (alcohol) and measures from negative 30 to plus 120 degrees Fahrenheit. The thermometer has a clip on the end which holds it to the top of the metal case. The metal case unscrews with a loop on the end to suspend the thermometer in a liquid. It also has its original cardboard case. It is excellent condition with no damage noted. The part number is gone from the cardboard top piece. If you need more information, please email.
