LETTERING SET LEROY 10 TEMP VINTAGE K&E KEUFFEL & ESSER LEROY LETTERING SET VINTAGE 1950 K&E LEROY LETTERING DRAFTSMAN PEN INK SET Vintage Keuffel & Esser LEROY Lettering Drafting Set This auction is for a VINTAGE KEUFFLE & ESSER CO. LETTERING SET LEROY 10 TEMP This lettering set is in good cosmetic condition. There are ten templates included as well as the carrying case and everything pictured above. Thier are 11 ink pen tips sizes (000 - 8) to be used with the scriber or the hand held pen holder. Included is the Scriber, a Scriber Stand, a pen tip cleaner, 8 lettering templates, a fine groove tracer pin, a lead holder and leads. This set is a 1950's era and is in excellent condition with the last copyright date as 1963 in a neat wooden box from Kerffel & Esser. The box is in good shape ,but is missing the right side hook that holds it closed. Ther are 11 templates with of letters seven from K&E two from Lutz and two from Fisher & Crome. On the back of the six larger templates there are either small letters or numbers. The scriber is also made by lutz. It appears to be six of what I think to be pens in the holes. LEROY Lettering Set in Case As a disclaimer I want to state up front I know little about how this set is used or what pieces should be included. It contains: 11 different lettering strips, every section is filled, so I am assuming these are complete. 11 of what appear to be pen tips in sizes OOO, 00, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Plus some kind of screw thing in the other space. I will just add that the other pieces are pictured. Those of you who would want this know what they are, and what they are used for! Nice green plastic case in very good condition that latches tight. The set looks complete and the original case measures approximately 15 1/2" long, 4" deep and 1 5/8" high. The case and parts all appear to be in excellent condition. I purchased a lot of tools and this was included. I'm not familiar with this item. Please study the pictures to ensure your satisfaction. You will receive what's pictured. Description This is for a set of TECH GRAPHIC PROFESSIONAL LETTERING SET TGP6S in a Nice Carrying Case. I was told it is was never used and it looks that way, but the equipment (pen tips) may need to be cleaned from years of storage & non-use. Similar if NOT the same as a Keuffel & Esser Co. Leroy Drafting Lettering Set. Contains Templates of various sizes, tips, pen holder, etc. What you see is what you get. Extra parts are included, so you will be able to do some professional drawings with all of this equipment. The foam padding is crumbly from old age, but the item overall looks in like new condition for its age. Originally priced at $155.00. Item is sold AS-IS. I used one of these sets myself in College Drafting Class and latter on as a Professional Engineer. This is a piece of american engineering history from the the days when type was hand done by artisans and draftsman. Now most people use autocad or some other computer aided drafting program to do their drawings, long gone are the days of ink drawings on vellums, sepias and mylars, too bad!
