This is one cool catalog of equipment for contractor's in 1925 issued by the sales company Thorman W. Rosholt Co in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This catalog has 148 glossy pages of many types of equipment, mostly for grading and site preparation and hauling. It represents many different company products such as Koering Company in Milwaukee who manufactured construction mixers, bar cutters and benders, pavers, grade finishers, cranes, draglines, and power shovels; C. H. & E. Factory in Milwaulee who manufactured saw rigs, diaphragm pumps, centrifugal pumps, and triplex pumps, several types of equipment hoists, mortar mixers, material elevators, mixers; Remmel Manufacturing Co in Kewaskum, WI and Blystone Mfg. Co in Cambridge Springs, PA for several types and sizes of mixers; LeRoi Company in Milwaulkee for stationary engines; C. S. Johnson Co in Champaign, ILL for batch hoppers and bins; Owen Bucket Co (Cleveland) for dragline buckets; Vulcan gas and steam locomotives; Freeman Mfg Co (Racine WI) for truck turntables; Metal Forms Corp (Milwaukee) for metal concrete forms for curbs and gutters, sidewalks, buildings, and silos; Buhl CO for hoists, pavement breakers, rock drills, portable air compressors; The Hatfield-Penfield Steel Co (Bucyrus, OH) for "one Man" graders, rollers, rooters, scrapers, maintainers, and crawler tracks for tractors such as McCormick-Deering and Fordson. Also listed in the rear of the catalog are rubber tired wheels for tractors and road equipment, steel wheels for Fordson, Trailmobile products (trailers), Universal Motor Co (Oskosh, WI) for engines, as well as small tools for contractors. There are many, many great pictures in high quality showing many of the differing models of each type equipment. This catalog is likely about the most complete anywhere of this type. The catalog has all glossy pages that are inserted into the binder with punch hole clips. The binder is made of stiff heavy construction-type paper. The edges are slightly rolled in as they are larger than the pages. The corners are also bent over. The inside pages are all very nice with no tears or writing on that I saw. But we would recommend that, after winning one of our auctions, you wait with payment until we package the item and then send an invoice. We try to estimate the boxed weight accurately but sometimes the final weight will differ some, hopefully to your benefit. Sometimes we find that another service will save money, such as using FedEx ground instead of USPS. We reserve the right to make such a change to the shipping provider in these instances. Ebay’s shipping calculators are not always accurate as well as we have seen where Ebay has greatly inflated the shipping in the listing for the weight we enter. We do feel, however, that quality packaging is more important than saving a few pennies. Thus, because of the cost of quality packaging, we reserve the right to add $1.00 to the shipping amount to cover the cost of tape, boxes, packing materials, and labels.
