I picked up this balance from a local drugstore that didn't have the heart to dispose of it.  Unfortunately, the glass top will need to be replaced, but otherwise the balance is in perfect working condition.  The chrome has residue buildup inside, but the scale and rest of the unit is in pretty good condition.  There is a 1975 sticker from Santa Clara County weights and measures in the State of Calif. which can be removed to see all the previous stickers. Lot#74938 It's pretty heavy, and I will pack it with a lot of bubble wrap. I hope this unit can be admired from someone who appreciates the heart of the pharmacy practice.  Thanks for looking!
