Will slide back and forth with ease, some oil maybe present. Including the feet on the base. The slicer is about 8 1/8" wide. Its about 14" long with wingnuts on front. Handle is about 21" long. Total height when slicer is open is about 7 /7/8" when closed is about 15". Please review the pictures.
