Vintage Working Heavy Duty "precise" Electric Jig / Die Grinder "super 50" !!!

I chose "Seller Refurbished" as I always clean , inspect & test all my eBay items for sale ! This working vintage die / jig grinder was made in Racine Wisconsin , USA by the Precise Products Company , and the Type : Super 50 . It has a 7' 8" long cord to power this 1/4 horse power 45,000 RPM work horse ! 120 Volts , 20-60 cycles AC / DC , 3.3 Amps @ 360 Watts . This tool has a BUSS Fuse AGC3 that I installed new . Although the information plate (in the pictures) is hard to read the details (Precise is legible) as my camera isn't the best , I have transferred all of it's information in this writing . The maximum wheel size is 1 1/4" diameter x 3/8" wide (grinding wheel/stone) or equivalent , & the maximum cutter size is 3/8" diameter x 1" long (most likely for the tools safety reasons . The unit is 9 3/4" long x 2 1/4" diameter , and it's steel body and all weigh a hefty 6 pounds . I believe this particular heavy duty grinder is one that mounts to a bracket , then is mounted to a jig grinding machine . The col-let that is in there is they only one that was in it and the col-let takes any shaft cutter / stone that has an 1/8" diameter shaft mounted to it . There were no wrenches or criteria with this tool , but I threw in a couple of small wrist pins diameter wise to be able to take the collect out and clean it all ! When you plug this tool in and turn it on , you know that this is a "Made In America" tool as it sounds as well as performs with power ! Speaking of the plug , there appeared to be at one time , a grounding wire coming out of the plug (perhaps to have it grounded to a jig grinding machine) , but as I have stated , if your using it by hand , which I tested , there doesn't seem to be a need for a grounding wire ! I have left the grinding stone in the col-let as I have no need for such a stone . Any true machinist / toolmaker knows what this tool is all about ! It would even be ideal for a host of other applications as well ! Packaged securely and ready to ship once your PayPal account clears , and thank you for coming to my pages and noticing !
