ViseCleats   Model 400's main feature is a aggressively serrated jaw face that crushes into your work piece.  Previously thought to only work with softer materials Model 400 ViseCleats when used with copper shims provide excellent gripping on heat treated tool steels and saw-cut surfaces.  The copper shims blanket irregular surfaces and provide a "dampening effect".  All ViseCleats are machined from mild steel and case hardened to 55-60 RC, then precision ground.  After grinding they are given a black-oxide finish.   All ViseCleat MODELS ARE SOLD AS A SET CONSISTING OF 2 JAWS.   · Carburized and hardened to 55-60 RC  · Black-Oxide finish · Provides excellent gripping on saw-cut surfaces. · Over 5 lbs. shipping weight     So how many times have you seen your stock shift in your vise? Or worse, crashing your spindle into a lifted part. With ViseCleats your work pieces are firmly held without excess distortion. Feeds and depths of cut can be significantly increased.
