Available today is a Very Heavy Duty Rotary Blister sealing machine, made by Visual Thermoforming (now called Visual Packaging out of Texas). This has the larger seal size of 18" X 22", so however many blister cards you can fit within the 18X22 boarder, is how many cards/blisters can be sealed per cycle. A typical seal cycle is about 3-4 seconds + the time it takes for the turntable to rotate 90 degrees. Its got variable timers for the amount of seal dwell time, and the amount of time between table indexes.  Most of the time, the machine can cycle faster than the operators can load and unload the product anyway. There has a digital temperature controller that holds a very consistent heater plate temp.   The machine also has a "CAMCO" indexer for the turntable.  Its VERY accurate where the table stops, so that if matched heater plate seal tooling is required, it works very well.      On the camco indexer, we can increase or decrease the rotation speed.   The index action is on a curve, where from a dead stop, it accelerates, maxes out, slows down and stops.   This make for really smooth turn table indexes.    Some other brands simply turn the table on and off, which can create a jarring motion that can upset the placement of blisters, cards and product.   We dont have to worry about that with this one.
