Very Rare, haven’t seen anything like this online.  Head frame imprinted with MSA Speed Frame US Patent 2187,932.  Patent states L.R. Cornell Applied March 27, 1936 Head Frame for Supporting Eye Shields.  Picture of patent from the internet.  This was the predecessor of the current welding face shield whereas a nod of the head would bring the eye shield in place. Note the springs. Not sure it works that way now without further adjustments.  adjustments can be made with screws at sides of goggles.  Look at pictures for condition.  There is some rust and it appears that the head frame is meant to be adjustable and this set may have taped the head gear at one position. The frame is partially covered in leather, I assume for comfort and some of the leather is torn from the frame.  This has not been cleaned up, as found with a collection of other vintage safety equipment. So very cool!!Ask for more specific pictures if needed before purchase
