VINTAGE GREENFIELD GTD LITTLE GIANT #7 SCREW PLATE TAP & DIE SET 26" Stock, Original Wooden Box For Sale VINTAGE ~1950s~ from GREENFIELD TAP & DIE Corporation The Descriptive Label inside the Box reads: "GTD USS LITTLE GIANT #7 SCREW PLATE SET 9 SIZES 26" STOCK WRENCH, TAPS AND DIES and 2-3/4" COLLETS" The Set, in its fitted wooden box consists of the following ~One 26" Stock ~7 Taps: 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, 7/8 and 1 Please note that the 3/8 tap is a "newer" replacement piece by Butterfield. ~One #7 Wrench ~9 Dies: 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, 7/8 and 1 ~2 3/4" Collets *********************** Condition Pre-Owned, Vintage and Used. Always kept carefully in original box. The Set has not been cleaned, I thought best to leave that to the new owner. The Original Box has darkened with age and could use some TLC: some bottom boards have separated and a hinge is loose. There are 2 missing Taps: 1/4" & 5/16", furthermore the 3/8 Tap has been replaced with a newer one by Butterfield. All 9 Dies are present. The #5 wrench is also missing, the larger #7 wrench is present. The entire set in its fitted wooden box is VERY HEAVY, 30 pounds! Please see all the photos.
