Micrvolumetric and volumetric infusion pump using standard PVC IV-Sets. Designed for intensive care, oncology, paediatrics, neonatal and general infusion threrapy where volumertic accuracy is required. Volumed 5005 volumetric infusion pump is a single channel volumetric infusion pump and controller which provides accurate and automatic infusion of intravenous drugs and fluids. The VP 5005 may be operated as either a pump or a controller, or it may be configured as only one or the other using a lockout feature. Secondary (or piggyback) fluid may also be automatically infused at delivery rates and volumes independent of the primary infusion parameters, with automatic changeover to the primary infusion parameters when the secondary infusion is complete. General product features of the Volumed Series UVP 5005 Easy to use, uniform operating philosophy. Large format LED displays showing: Rate mi/h, Total ml and infused. Simple operation through logical touch control keys, easy setup procedure. Volumed UVP 5005 safety Sophisticated control and monitoring systems to provide high levels of patient safety and comprehensive alarm protection. Automatic internal battery operation during patint transfer or AC power failure. Fully variable pressure system with pressure display (option to omit this function).
