Up for auction is a VINTAGE AJUSTRITE / A JUST RITE cardboard DRESS FORM, MODEL M No. 100, U.S. Patent No. 2014299. It was manufactured by Gerstein Bros. Manufacturing Corporation, 1261 Broadway, New York USA. It was found at auction in Meigs County, Ohio... And said at auction that it was originally used at the Middleport Department Store. I don't know its specific age. It has a cord for slipping on a hanger with a "garmet/clothing article" and you tie the garment to the cardboard giving it a nice shape for display. The piece says " Eye Appeal means Buy Appeal... Use an AJUSTRITE Dress Form In Every Dress" I would describe it as being in ok to good USED vintage condition for an old cardboard piece. There is a crease/bend in the center near "waist line" and it has multiple "straight pin" marks-puncture holes, also near the waist line area most likely from use "back-in-the-day. (see photos). The cord seems ok. The edge binding also also appears good. Its overall a very nice-unique old piece of history but I always try to be more critical in my descriptions and will not call something mint if it's not!... & must be somewhat rare as I've never found another one listed, other than the couple I've already sold. It measures 12" x 8". I believe the photos show it well. Check them all out as they are part of the description... Please feel free to ask questions!....
