Very attractive and rare Everest K2 portable manual typewriter - made in Italy from 1952 to 62. Attractive typewriter with raised metal lettering. This old K2 is in excellent working condition with no sticky keys. Very easy to read and just a real attractive look at. The metal carrying case shows signs of some wear but is still very functional and has it's original plastic handle and includes the original key. The typewriter is in good working order and good cosmetic shape. Both black and red work but, I would recommend a new ribbon if you intend to use this. Also the type face ( the pieces that hit the ribbon and leave the letter on the paper have an 18 on them. I believe this an indicator of the type of type ...)
