We have here a Lot of 5 Vintage Machinist Pocket Calculators. 2 are celluloid, 1 has a celluloid case with paper slide and 2 are paper. These are all Albert Amsden's. He worked at LS Starrett in Athol Ma, he also patented a few pieces! These are all early 1900's. These were out of his personal collection. First is a round celluloid Landis Table of Grinding Wheels. 3 1/8" wide. No cracks or breaks. Vest Pocket Info for Machinists. Paper. Is stained a dark brown, from sun I think. Has grease fingerprint on back, no tears or rips. 5" by 3". Dodge Calculator for Pulleys and Belts. The outside of the slide is a celluloid plastic. Paper pull. Paper pull is darkened, sun stained and its signed by Amsden. 5 3/4" tall by 2 3/4" wide. Celluloid Ladew Belting Strength Computer. 5 6/8" tall by4 3/16" wide. No breaks. Some discoloration on left side. Austin & Doten Steel Paper Table showing different Wire Gauges. Some light loss of white paper on right side. Overall has staining, no rips. 6 1/4" by 3 1/2" A great lot of turn of the century Machinist calculators!
