 Estate find <P>Wilson Bull Dog safety or welders glasses.  All metal frames, perforated on each side to let air in.  <P>I believe the lenses screw off but they are on pretty tight now. <P>Original cardboard box. <P>Ball chain nose bridge.  Included are the original instructions on how to adjust the chain.  On the other side of the instructions there is a black and white picture of a bull dog with information: "These goggles represent an investment for your protection... Wear them on hazardous jobs.  Keep them clean.... treat them as you would any other good tool. <P>Although the box reads "Patent Pending" inside the box there is a piece of paper listing patent numbers from 79,272 to 2,012,441 which date these glasses to the early 1930's.   The glasses were also patented in other countries as listed on the paper.
