You are bidding on a vintage 2-drawer index card file box cabinet. This grey metal file has a great industrial look. The box accommodates 3" x 5" index or file cards. It measures 16 and 3/16 inches long (not including the handles on the front) by 12 and 5/8 inches wide by 5.25 inches tall (including four circular feet on the bottom). Each handle has a sliding plastic protective label cover. Two small slots on the top and two small tabs on the bottom allow it to be stacked with other similar file drawers. Adjustable mechanisms inside the drawers hold index cards in place. I can't find a maker's name on the item. This box has some scratches on exterior surfaces, some wear and rust along edges, and a rusted spot on the top where another file box has scraped the surface. The inside is clean. The drawers operate smoothly. The mechanisms inside the drawers work properly. Please see photos for condition. The file box weighs over 9 pounds.
