VWR Laboratory Convection Gravity Oven 1350FM Excellent Cosmetic and Working Condition INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AVAILABLE This VWR Laboratory Convection Gravity Oven is in excellent cosmetic and tested working condition. It is ready to use as soon as you receive it, and I guarantee it will function as described, or return it for a full refund. I plugged the unit in and powered it up. The unit reached the set temperature of 240*C in about 18 minutes and held the temperature for 2 hours with no issues. See details in condition section below. Condition I powered the unit on and set the Main Temperature Control to 240*C. The fan began to spin and the unit immediately began to heat up, at this time I set the Overtemperature Safety Thermostat to "0". The unit continued to heat until the desired temperature was reached. I checked the temperature with a Fluke Digital thermometer and the it was within a few degrees, indicating the unit is functioning properly. I ran the oven for approximately 2 hours, and it held the temperature at set level. I ran another test by setting the temperature to 260*C, and the unit heated up to 259*C and held. I also checked the function of the timer. After trning the timer switch to the "On" position, I pressed the "Timer Reset" button to set the timer. An LED began to blink indicating which numbers are being set. I set the timer to 3 minutes and pressed "Start". The unit began to heat up the set temperature, and when the timer reached "0000", the unit stopped heating, as indicated by the LEDs. No further testing has been performed.
