 alrighty, you are getting new vwr 47729-570 12x 75 mm culture tubes-- now the packs are sealed so I hate to open them-- there are 8 total packs of 250 per pack BUUTTT I do hear breakage. I am saying you are getting for sure 1250 count good ones and have to weed out the broken. the rest above and beyond the 1250 are freebies. Chemically Inert High Heat Tolerance Uniform Dimensions Convenient Dispensing Packages These culture tubes are resistant to chemical attack and weathering. Contents will not leach out and contaminate solutions. Borosilicate also prevents pH change in laboratory tests. Manufactured from Type I, Class B borosilicate glass, each tube is heat-treated at temperatures exceeding 500°C (932°F) immediately before packing, which eliminates contamination, increases strength, and reduces breakage.
