VWR MFV-14 (-20°) Upright Laboratory Freezer The VWR® Standard Series Manual Defrost Laboratory Series Freezers are designed specifically with general-purpose applications in mind. Adjustable operating temperature range: –15 to –25 °C (5 to –13 °F) Direct-cool fixed evaporator shelves These units are ideal when stable temperatures averaging -20°C are required but precise temperature control, maintenance, and alarms are not necessary. These freezers feature a manual defrost design to eliminate damaging temperature spikes from defrost cycles. This ensures valuable sample security. Defrosting of the unit must be performed periodically to prevent severe ice build-up.
