Each VWR water bath is built with high quality stainless steel poly coated exterior. the 1229 delivers accuracy and durability for challenging laboratory environments. Each VWR water bath is designed with the heater mat underneath the stainless steel interior to enhance temperature sensitivity. Each has a built-in microprocessor and comes with digital controls. These waterbaths have a cut-out to allow use of a second thermometer and comes with an over-temp system protection in case liquids evaporate. In addition, the VWR 1229 has a secondary control for easy adjustment if the main system fails. The control panel is situated at the front of the bath to allow for easy access. This 4.8 gallon water bath has a well-lit digital display with membrane keypad to adjust the temperature. This technology makes reproducbility an accurate duplication of challenging procedures a cinch. The VWR 1229 water bath can accommodate various sizes of test tubes, flasks, beakers and micro-tubes.
