High Cooling Capacity Digital Temperature Readout in °C or °F Digital Pressure/Flow Readout in kPa or psi, L/min. or gpm Microprocessor Control in 0.1°C Increments VWR Two-Year Limited Parts and Labor Warranty VWR Signature™ chillers provide a clean, reliable source of temperature-controlled fluid for open tanks and closed loop systems. They eliminate scale buildup, sewerage cost, and tap water cooling expenses.  These 4.1L (1.1gal.) chillers provide high cooling at low cost, have a convenient digital read and set display, and are available in two pump versions. The standard magnetic drive centrifugal pump quietly produces high flow at moderate pressure. Positive displacement pump models provide less flow but have higher adjustable pressure for more demanding applications. The modulating system maintains stable temperatures even under intermittent load conditions. Chillers have a temperature stability of ±0.1°C and are equipped with 1.3cm (1/2") female NPT inlet/outlet fittings and lockable caster wheels. Temperature range: –10 to 40°C (14 to 104°F). Dimensions: 57.5Hx36.8Wx70.2Lcm (225/8x141/2x275/8").  The external pressure reducer steps down higher pressures from 10psi–45psi and is available for positive displacement pumps only. The general-purpose clear bath algicide is compatible with stainless steel and helps keep water baths clean, odor-free, and resistant to black algae. One 237mL (8oz.) bottle treats approximately 757L (200gal.). Supplied in a plastic dispenser bottle. The Dynalene® HC 50 heat transfer fluid provides superior thermal stability for high or low temperatures. Fluid has a temperature range of –53 to 60°C (–63 to 140°F), a –56°C (–68.8°F) freezing point, and a viscosity (in centistokes) of 3.6 at 0°C and 15.1 at –40°C.  Note: Heat transfer fluid is incompatible with Buna or natural rubber.    Compressor 1/4 hp 1/3 hp 1/2 hp 3/4 hp 1 hp Cooling Capacity 2500W at 20°C, 1700W at 10°C, 760W at 0°C 800W at 20°C, 500W at 10°C, 200W at 0°C 2500W at 20°C, 1700W at 10°C, 760W at 0°C 2900W at 20°C, 1925W at 10°C, 1000W at 0°C Model 1171 1173 1175 1177 1179
