Manufacturer: VWR Scientific Products Condition: Used. Cosmetic condition is fair, with heavy dings and scratched paint outside, and discoloration and deposits inside (see photos). The door gasket is pliable, but it has some rust on it. Working condition is "partial" (see below). Notes: The previous owner was using this oven for curing at 50?. We powered it on and it reached 50? but it was very smelly and smoking. The overtemperature limit does work. We moved the oven outside, set the temperature to 300? and let it heat up. The temperature rose quickly, and the oven continued to smoke and stink. When the temperature was rising through 155? an internal fan started audibly rubbing, then stopped spinning. We shut the oven down and let it sit for a couple of minutes and switched on again. As the temperature was rising through 155? the fan started again, but it slowed and stopped again approaching 190?. We switched off again and no other testing was done. No manuals, cords/cables, or additional items are included if not listed or shown.
