This headset is approved by Nuance (the creators of Dragon) for superior dictation results. The headset translator box is powered by 2 AA batteries (new) and has 1 headphone jack & 1 mic jack. A USB adapter for this unit is available. The Dragon software works with the following operating systems: Windows ME/98SE/NT 4.0 with SP 6 or higher/2000/XP. It is not compatible with Windows 7/8. A service pack download is available for Windows XP and older OS versions on the Nuance web site at: http://support.nuance.com/downloads/default.asp.
