Cleaned and disinfected. Black plastic exterior has some light scratches that don't show in the photos. Plastic on top of toaster has some wavy spots caused by covering the toaster when in operation. They do not affect operation of the toaster. DO NOT cover the toaster while it's in operation. This is a Pro grade appliance and it gets very hot. Pictures are included as part of the description for this item.
