With its easy installation feature, the SubDrive controller can be used with a pump rating of 3/4, 1, or 1.5 hp (selectable). Its motor rating is 1.5 HP, 230 VAC (3-phase), and it offers a constant water pressure range of 25 to 80 psi. The unit is also equipped with surge protection, soft start feature that prevents water hammer, and increases motor life, and it works with small pressure tanks or existing larger tanks. The unit is designed for smooth, quiet operation with Built-in Pumping System Protection and excellent radio frequency interference shielding. The SubDrive constant pressure controller is UL and CUL listed. The Franklin Electric SubDrive constant pressure controllers are known for providing constant pressure by regulating the speed of the pump to match the water demand. This system pumps the required amount of water, keeping the water pressure constant. This system eliminates the need for draining and filling a large tank, which was previously necessary. With this unit, you won't have to worry about running the dishwasher, doing laundry, and watering the lawn simultaneously. This controller was previously used in a residential application and was removed due to an irrigation upgrade.
