Watertight Electronic Safety Flare Strobe Watertight electronic safety flare strobes something fierce using (9) super bright red LEDs. It floats upright, has a wrist strap, and also has a magnetic base that's handy for mounting on a stranded auto. It measures 6" long x 1-1/2" dia and runs for 200 hours using a pair of "AAA" batteries (not included). Great idea for boating, to carry in the car to use for emergencies, and for bicyclists and joggers. Really great for kids wandering around in the dark. If you let your kids do that. Watertight is likely an understatement. I have included photos illustrating the 5 thread depth of the battery department container closure and you can (barely - but it is there) that there is an 'O' ring to insure no water breaches the battery compartment through the screw-on magnetic base.
