This Ka-Band section was part of a test set-up. At higher frequencies you must purge the moist air out of all waveguides.  This section was used to introduce dry nitrogen into the waveguides.  You put in about 4 PSI and you would observe the gauge to make sure the pressure held steady.  It is in excellent condition.
