It boasts a frequency range of 0.5 Hz to 5 MHz, with a signal output of up to 10V p-p into a 50 ohm load. The frequency vernier also appears to be malfunctioning. Additionally, the generator includes a five-position attenuator in 10 dB steps, as well as a 10 dB vernier adjustment. The cabinet cover may show signs of wear and tear with scratches and scuffs, and a slight dent in one rear corner. Evaluating the electrical condition of the function generator can be aided with oscilloscope screen shots showing a square wave at 500 kHz, a triangle wave at 50 kHz, and a sine wave at 5 kHz, as well as the accompanying sync output waveform. Despite these issues, the attenuator and its accompanying vernier work properly in all five positions. The Wavetek 141 Function Generator is a powerful machine that produces a variety of waveforms, including triangle, square, and sine. Please note that the oscilloscope is not included in this sale. However, the x1M frequency position is not stable, rendering the generator unusable in the 500 kHz to 5 MHz range.
