This auction is for a Wavetek Model 3001 signal generator. I bought this unit used about 10 years ago and it has been on my work bench since then. I now have a much more expensive sig gen so this one needs a new home. The unit is in fair cosmetic condition. All functions seem to work okay. The only issue I know of is that when the unit is cold it is slow to lock when you change frequency above about 250mhz. Turning the power off and then on again causes it to lock. I bet all it needs is a good calibration of the PLL circuitry and it would work fine. I took some pictures of the 3001 working while measuring the signal on a spectrum analyzer. The spectrum analyzer is not part of the auction, just the Wavetek 3001. Thanks for Looking!
